Summary Deep in Kavala Hive's lower levels, a corpse is found, but not just any corpse. It is one of the clones of Ksenia Vail, fabricator general of Corinthe.  As the clone's body was found in the territory of House Nyxis, it falls under their jurisdiction. Kaira Nyxis, a daughter of the house, has been sent as a formality by the baronial house; however, if lucky, she may uncover the culprit which would bring honor and notoriety to the house. House Nyxis is not alone in the investigation, and Kaira will likely seek out aid of others more suited to investigation than herself, or for protection in their territory's seedier areas. The severity of the situation has prompted the notice of the fabricator general herself, and another one of her proxy bodies has shown up at the scene to, at minimum, process the body.  She will undoubtedly have some insight, however, as her clones do not die in gutters very often.
